To enhance your EPC rating, ensure that as many of your fixed light fittings as possible are equipped with low energy lamps. This small adjustment can make a noticeable difference.
If your home includes a hot water tank, it’s crucial to have ample insulation around it, as effective insulation can significantly improve your EPC rating.
Regarding loft insulation, if access to the loft is restricted or if it’s boarded over, I may have to report the insulation status as 'unknown'. This could negatively impact your EPC rating. Please have any documentation available to demonstrate the loft insulation is present.

If achievable, knowing the precise efficiency of the boiler can yield a higher EPC score compared to the software's default setting for that boiler type. Since visually inspecting boiler details can be challenging, please have any manuals or service history available for reference.
